A: Typically the answer is my own. I'm able to tell my personal story with each song.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on personal a project and I work free lance with Sony Music.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Matt Sim, amazing mixing engineer!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. Portability is a major component in what I do, especially when I have to travel.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That you will be able to confidently press play in front of anyone.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like connecting with new people and hearing their version of what I've written.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Will you make edits if need be? Yes, I will. Edits typically don't need to be done though, because I give you the best possible product.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That you can only make a living by being in the spotlight or working with the majors. I know plenty of people in the background that make the best songs.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What songs/artists sound similar to the one you're going for. What about it/them do you like? The lyrics, melodies, production?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Give me an example of what you're trying to execute and I'll come up with something similar.

A: MacbookPro, Power Supply, Keyboard, Microphone, Kayak :)

Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is "smooth" and blue.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd like work with Frank Ocean. I'd like to know the deeper meaning behind his metaphorical lyrics.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Go with feeling and repetition.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: R&B, Pop, Edm, Acoustic Pop
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is flexibility. I can 99% of the time nail what the artist/producer is going for.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a story, always.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I'm typically presented with the artist's vision, I ask some questions to better understand where they're coming from, then I ask for a song example of a similar song. Ideas are first hashed on the piano (if no instrumental is provided), then I got in the booth to lay out melodies. Lyrics come last and form the characters story.
