Funky Vocalist / Writer

Strength in writing toplines and arranging vocals. I've worked on stage and in-studio with musicians fromYES, Ozzy, Bad Company and more. I have a unique, soulful bluesy sound, have a love of old funk music, and can sing hard or breathy/soft. Admiration for MJ, Prince, TOP, EWF etc.

I used to do a ton of session work for Studio Pros but left them in 2015 or so. Worked as a ringer for a few Rock & Roll fantasy camps in LA. Had my original band and showcased for Capitol Records at SXSW, who said I needed to either pick rock or funk...they couldn't find the right "box" to put me in. I've been in the studio as a writer and session singer for a lot of great musicians over the years, and I'm still ok singing for other people's work, but I'd love to find the right producer to work with for my own stuff. I love working with producers who can take my rough tracks with verse melodies, chorus hooks and bridges and turn them into gold. It's a rare find.
