I am a Producer and a trained audio engineer having an experience of over 6 years, claiming expertiese in producing electronic music and its sub genres like Hose, Drum&Bass, Jungle, Grime, Garage. My Style in music is best defined as Clean , punchy and modern.
Hi
I have been producing music for over 6 years now over the course of which my love for music has led me to explore many musical genres. Primarily into bass music, I have also prodcued and worked on Rock , pop and RnB records from artists from countries like India, Poland, Germany, America and Brazil. However in the recent years, my personal taste has led me to the undeground sounds of bass music from Europe. Genres such as DnB, Jungle, garage etc. are some of my favorite that i have personally been working on for a few years now.
My experience in producing Bass Music for pretty much all of my carrer has helped me achieve a very deep understanding of working with the low end (bass frequenices) of a track, something which in my opinion is one of the more important elements of a complete track, if not the most.
I would be more than glad to assist you to take you track, no matter what stage its at, to it maximum capabilty and deliver you a rich ,complete sounding song.

Endorse RajatI collaborated with Rajat, also known as Cypher7, on a bossa nova pop track. Our collaboration was a 50/50 effort, with both of us equally contributing. The creative process was immensely enjoyable, especially because Rajat was always there to assist whenever I hit a roadblock. His professionalism is top-notch, and he knows exactly how to work with artists in a proper and professional manner. With him, everything felt effortless, making the song-making process incredibly enjoyable as always.
Interview with Rajat
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My recent most track that i just finished working on was with an Artist who i became friends with as we were working on the song, As the producer and co-writer of the song, this was really one of the most satisfying feeling of collaboration and creative fulfilment , which resulted in one of the best pieces of work i have created yet. The release in still in works thoguh, you'll get to listen to it really soon.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on puttiong out some new music on my personal alias "Cypher7". I wish to grow as an individual artist along side this.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: No one yet as this is the beginning of my career on this platform, I hope to build a network and work with all the amazing folks here soon.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I would like to say both. I'd take the perfection of digital and then add the nuances and subtle chaos of analog to that.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: the promise to my clients is that theyll walk away satisfied with an amazing sounding track and a great professional working experience.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love music , and the job provides me the opportunity to take an in depth look at so many different sounds from all around the world. It adds another layer of appreciation for this art form.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: One of the FAQ that I get is how long does it take to mix and master a song, My answer to that is always "It depends on what you want". I believe mixing is a never ending task, theres always so many things that can be further done with a track to make it better, i believe building the confidence to putting on and delivering a mix that satisfies the client is a really underappreciated skill.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The biggest misconception is that poeple often things can be corrected in the post production phase, however that is true in most of the cases, the outcome from that isn't the best and more often then not sounds like a compromise. Im a huge advocate of finding and fixing the sound right from the source.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I ask them about the story that they wish to convey through their work, I try to connect to their project through them first. Then once a get an idea I ask them for a reference track to know what kind of sound they're wanting.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: that advice would be to know and to be easily able to communicate what sounds good to their ears and thier vision for the project the would like to hire me to work on.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: it would definitely be my laptop, my midi keyboard , headphones , my audio interface and my guitar.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I stared off as a bedroom producer about 6 years ago with no prior knowledge of music, and today i am a trained full time audio engineer, producer and a musician.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I would describe my style to be on slightly low end oriented yet super tight, clean and modern sounding.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would like to work with Tisoki someday as he is pioneering the bass music scene. He's an awesome producer and overall seems like a really nice chill guy.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: One tip that i think is so important yet often overlooked by many is that, the source of your sound should be the best it can be, Processing a bad sound can only take it so far, but the right sound can really elevate the song with minimal processing. This in other word means that sample selection is KEY to a good mix!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on Electronic bass music for my own alias, other than that i work on all sorts of projects for clients.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I consider my strongest skill te be programming and mixing drums. I am a sucker for interesting grooves and rhythms.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: My experience that i gained having to work on such different styles of music, i believe it allows me to look at a song from a different approach, allowing more experimentation. I also can play mutilple instruments(Drums, guitar, bass and keys), i believe knowing how to play an instrument only adds to your understanding of how to mix it bettter.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Before staring on with the project, I like to discuss the vision of the project that the client has for the project and discuss references, in order to help me get to the same page as my client and deliver the best work according to their needs.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My Essential studio setup a very portable one, It comprises of my laptop (AMD Rysen7 and 16Gb of RAM) , Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, pair of headphones (Audiotechnica M40X) and my MIDI keyboard.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Skrillex has always been a huge inspiration to me, Ever since i first heard his "Scary monsters and nice Sprites" LP, I have fell in love with electronic music, especially the styles driven by heavy bass sounds.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common type of work that I have done for my clients has been Recording and mixing, both covers and originals.
