Hi I´m Alec I´ve been playing guitar for 15 years. I provide quality guitar production, looking forward to collaborate on your music!

I've been playing guitar for 15 years and been working and growing as a session guitarist for the last past 4 years. My forte its worship and ambient music but I can cover other genres like Pop, Rock, Indie, Funk, among others.

There are a lot of other guitarist out there who are better than me but I strive to bring something creative and unique to the song! I'll do my best to make sure that you're satisfied with my work and that it fits your vision of the song.

I'm familiar and specialized and familiar with CCM bands like Bethel Music, Hillsong Worship, Elevation Worship, Brandon Lake, Mosaic MSC, Jesus Culture, Gable Price and Friends, Un Corazón, Majo y Dan, Cody Carnes, etc.

Some of my other influences are The 1975, LANY, John Mayer, Joan, Kings of Leon, Andy Timmons, Steve Lukather, The Band Camino and others related to them.

When we're finished I'll send high quality separated stems in wave format or any other format you need. I can also provide clean DI signal for reamping if you need to.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I´ve been helping a local christian indie band called LOGIN, both live and in the studio and also on projects that clients send me as well as playing live on churches or concerts.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Samael Orozco is a great music producer.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I'm just another "worship guitarist" who relies on his effects. Don't get me wrong I love to play that music and the effects are a big part of it but I've also studied for a lot of years and have the chops to play any other type of music.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Give me a chance, there are a lot of other great guitarist with more experience on this platform but I can assure you that I'll give it my 100%.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been playing for 15 years and always played in churches from Mexico and the US. The last few years I've been trying to get more involved on the studio side of things.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: A mix between Indie Rock, Alternative and Worship Music.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I've always been a fan of Bethel Music, would love to work with them someday.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Worship music
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I think I'm very patient and like to give my 100% to what I do.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I like to bring something fresh and unique to the song, even if its just a little part on the track. Sometimes those small details make the difference.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to listen to the song a few times and not play anything to internalize it and see if I can come up with some cool parts from my mind rather than from muscle memory of playing the instrument. I start from that, then I like to continue to work on the parts and bring a good execution and production to it.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Michael Pope and Bobby Strand are among my greatest inspiration in the field of worship music but on other categories I draw inspiration from players like John Mayer, Mateus Asato and bands like Kings of Leon and The Band Camino.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I track electric guitars for their projects.
