I'm an audio engineer living in Stuttgart, germany.
My whole life was surrounded by music. Mostly by Electronic an hard acoustic music like hardcore or deathmetal.
As a young child I allready knew that I will do anything with music.
I studied at SAE and finished with Bachelor of Arts in Audio Production and did first Jobs as a boomoperator, stagehand and live mixing engineer.
Since 5 years I am a Sounddesigner and audio engineer for a big Radiostation in Southwest germany with more than a half million listeners every day.

In this Job you need to get the best out of every audio material you get and you need to be focused on efficiency and good quality.

I mix, edit, master and remix my Jobs in my private Home-Studio. For big recordings I mostly use the recording Studio of a well known colleagues, called Proton Studio in Türkheim, Germany.

Interview with Matt Fischery

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: In my Home-Studio I work completly in the box, means digital. On my iMac I work with ProTools11, Ableton Live10 and a bunch of Plug Ins. For sampling inquiries or DJ Production I have a complete DJ Setup with Traktor Pro, Turntables, CD-Player and a 4 channel Pioneer mixer. For bigger recordings I work in a Studio of a friend. Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I did some Stem mixing for an australian client with an noisy-super-monster-dub-track. Was so much fun and something exciting new. Now I will start some more own music with new lovley toys like the analog drummachine Tanzbär
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: We will write and find the best way how we get your wishes done.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Sure! The Team of Proton Music makes an awesome job and have a really really good sounding recording studio. All my bigger recordings especially drums are recorded there.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: There's no typical work process. It always depends on the desires of the customer. I'll adjust my workaround to the behavior of the customer to get the best working environment which is desired.
