Plush recording studio in Hayward offering low-price audio recording services. You won't find another local studio this nice, with this sound, for this price! Specializing in Rap, Hip Hop, R&B production, mixing, and mastering. You can also record your podcast, eBook, or other monologue here with confidence.
I use Hulk 990 microphone in a custom built booth, fed through a fully analog preamp, EQ and compression chain so that, even if you leave with just a dry recording, it will sound really nice. Also have auto-tuning capabilities while recording, whether you want a subtle addition or full on auto-tune effects. Plus, lots of other goodies in my mixing services using Izotope, Waves, and even some boutique plugins for saturation, tone, reverb, delays, etc. Recording platform is Cakewalk Sonar (similar to Pro Tools, Cubase, Logic, etc),
I work with a lot of studio first-timers, so if you've never been to a studio before, you're in good hands here. Although I have a strong work ethic, sessions are never rushed....even if they go a little over schedule. My main goal is to have you sounding your absolute best!
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.
Interview with PAP Studios/K-Dubb Productions
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hip Hop, Rap, R&B
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: We have a recording template, import the beat/instrumental to the track, step into the booth, and start recording. Simple as that. During recording, we will start mixing the song so that by the end of the session, there is a lightly mixed and presentable product. Further mixing is done later (with your feedback). Mastering is done by request in a similar fashion.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Custom-built space, purpose-built sound booth for vocals with thick insulation to keep all external sounds out, carpeted to take out most (if not all) echos, big enough for a small group but best for individuals. Space for a few guests in the lab with a couch, snacks and drinks.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: JT The Bigga Figga, huge inspiration as a local, self-taught producer and businessman. All Bay Area rap artists have been inspiration.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: We mostly record vocals for new artists who bring their own beats/instrumentals, then mix those songs to perfection.
