Interview with Tryxster Wolfsbane
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: The Blood on the Ground album released under my brand name only shows the love and passion I can have for my own works, and I can replicate my learnings in producing your records.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital: it is more practical and portable because, at the end of the day, the listeners of your music will not care if you have access to the most expensive gear; their ears cannot tell the difference.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Explain how you want the finished song to be as detailed as possible, and I will do the rest.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That's all fun and gear. Since I want to be taken seriously by potential clients, I have learned to love and embrace the business side of music production.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been doing this since 2014.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: It all starts with the source material; for a song recording to be great, it will start with the songwriting and recording process. Everything else is the icing on the cake.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hair metal, Grunge, Rock, and Alternative
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Attention to details
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: A basic studio set up with real instruments and is capable of doing multitrack recordings.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Bands: Oasis, Dishwalla, Guns n Roses, Aerosmith, Asking Alexandria Producers: Nick Didia and Joey Sturgis
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Create a song for them from scratch: write, record, mix (master if I have to), and send them the finished audio file.
