Mixing engineer with a background in mathematics. Let me enhance and balance your sound with precise digital acoustics tools, and an experienced ear.
Acoustics is a mathematical phenomenon, and should be approached in that way. We can precisely model rooms and spaces and carefully place your sound to create an acoustic landscape that can touch or even overwhelm your listener. I do more than trying and listening to achieve loudness or width, I use calculations to optimize what needs to be optimized to its fullest potential without any compromises.
No mixing engineer should rely solely on calculations.
I have over a decade of experience with a variety of instruments including piano, guitar, bass, viola, cello, sax and even theremin. I have half a decade of vocal experience, and three years with a state university choir, including an international tour (highlights such as performing mass at St. Peter's Basilica). I spend most my time on keys and guitars.
I don't love to record myself, but my lifelong and intimate experience with the sounds these instruments produce has trained my ear to be attuned to the common pitfalls of recording them, e.g. unwanted harmonics on guitar, a heavy thumb on keys, how an "ee" vowel can kill the resonance in vocals.
I have both the technical expertise and the musical experience to make your sound stand out.
