Sam is awesome to work with and really great at mixing. His first pass was really really close to a final and the couple recalls we did were just tweaks. An absolute pleasure. Will be working with Sam again. Thanks again Sam!

Interview with Sam Koop

  1. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  2. A: There's room enough in this world for both. Analog's great because of the way full waveforms are captured, and the warmth that comes from tape saturation. Digital has come a long way since the mid-90's. It sounds great now, and the cost allows a whole new era of musicians to record their music that we would have never had a chance to hear before.

  3. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  4. A: Trust your ears over your eyes.
