It has been great to work with Sam. He combines two strenghts: is a very professional mixer but also is a very creative one if you ask him to be. Not every mixer out there have this both abilities. His commitment and cordiality makes the process very enjoyable. I definitely will work with him again.

Interview with Sam Koop

Analog or digital and why?
There's room enough in this world for both. Analog's great because of the way full waveforms are captured, and the warmth that comes from tape saturation. Digital has come a long way since the mid-90's. It sounds great now, and the cost allows a whole new era of musicians to record their music that we would have never had a chance to hear before.
Can you share one music production tip?
Trust your ears over your eyes.
