With an unyielding attention to detail, I ensure every mix is meticulously polished to meet the highest industry standards. My priority is realizing your vision, making sure your music sounds great and resonates with your audience.
I strive to create mixes that are perfectly balanced for both radio play and streaming services, ensuring your music stands out wherever it is played. Together, we will bring your sonic vision to life, ready for the world to hear. While I have strong opinions about mixing, I am ALWAYS open to adjustments and will happily tailor my work to fit your artistic views. At the end of the day, it's your music, and you'll be listening to it for days to come, so I want you to enjoy every second of it.
For me, communication is vital to the success of a project. You'll always receive a response from me, and every single comment will be addressed. You won't need to tiptoe around feedback; I always assume positive intent. I understand that our visions may differ. If that's the case, I will always explain the reasons behind my decisions. However, I recognize that it's your music and your investment, so I will do my utmost to ensure you are satisfied with the final result.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Make sure you're happy with your unmixed tracks. No amount of mixing will make a bad song good. If you're still unhappy with the song, then it's not time to mix it yet. Keep at it! Also, make sure that your sonic references (the music you give your mix engineer to base the sound off) are realistic. While we can replace drum sounds and re-amp guitars, this can only go so far.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: When writing a song, "the song" always wins. What's the point of having the best sounding song if it doesn't resonate with the target audience? There are countless "oldies" that are still on people's minds, not because they sound good (some don't!) but because they're just great songs.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I like to think that what I bring to a song is the catalyst that lets the artist's own voice come through. A great mix is one that meets the artist's expectation, not the one that "sounds the best". Maybe the artist just wants their song to sound great in their boom box and never intends to publish it (and that's OK too!). Maybe they want their song to sound great on streaming platforms, as well as a phone speaker. Again, the best mix is the one that enhances the artist's vision and meets their expectations.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First I ensure that both the client and I are on the same page so that I can fully understand their expectations. It's crucial that I understand the client's artistic vision, otherwise the process will be suboptimal for everyone involved. I like to listen to the rough mix the artist/producer has been listening to, and understand what they like about it (if anything). Sonic references are always welcome at this stage as they will help guide the mix. Some artists want surgical control in their mixes while others allow a freer interpretation so it's important to understand and respect their process.
