Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I will warm up your track and bring it to life with the addition of expertly crafted and performed live instrumental arrangements that help frame and enhance a track or song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My work process starts with a thorough listen of any project I am taking on, plus a series of questions for the producer/artist to make sure I fully understand his/her artistic vision. Next, I get to work arranging and recording my instrumental parts. Once all the recording is done, I consolidate and export WAV files such that my client has to do little more than copy and paste. For songs where a there is a solo, I include 2-3 options so that the client can pick which style he/she wants for the track.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a few different mics and a versatile UA preamp to dial in the necessary tone for any project. Additionally, I have Focal monitors so that I can clearly hear how everything I'm recording sounds from a mix perspective. I record and edit everything in Pro Tools.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I write, arrange, and record horn parts, guitar parts, and/or basslines on top of existing tracks for my clients.
