I’m an experienced session vocalist (as well as songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist) with over 15 years of experience in Nashville, Tennessee. I’m available for hire in any one of these roles to make your song the best it can be so that it has the best possible shot of breaking through in this tough (insane!) industry. More than anything, your song needs a compelling vocal and I can deliver that on the absolute best gear in my studio in Nashville. I’ve worked in Country, Pop, Rock, and Contemporary Christian and I understand the nuances that distinguish each genre so I can sing from an authentic place regardless of the style or mood of the track. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to give you my best!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Listen! To the track, to the vocal, and most importantly to your emotional response to both of those.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Usually a client will send me a produced track to sing over. I can usually turn these around within a few days!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a small overdub studio in Nashville, TN. For Vocals I like my Neuman U67 for almost everything and a Shure SM7 every now and then. I have Neve and API pres and a few different compressors.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most often I sing a lead vocal and create a harmony/background vocal arrangement. I'm happy to discuss anything that you have in mind! If you've got an idea, I'd love to help you bring it to life.
