Originally from a small town in Germany, D/A (born Darius Küpping) is an independent musician and producer, who’s style isn’t attached to a special music genre, but to experiences from daily life. With influences from classical music to Rock and electronic music, Darius has created his own style.

Hi there, my name is Darius. I make music as D/A (previously as RFLX) and been doing it for all my life basically, but I started to really produce music in 2014. Before that I've gained experience as a professional violist, which I started to learn from the age of 4. Since then, I also picked up learning piano and (bass-)guitar and visited classes in music theory.

I am offering my ''services'' on SoundBetter, because I really like working with other musicians on their songs and have a certain challenge with working on new sounds that I am not really used to while making my own music, but also in doing Mixdowns. I am kind of a geek and really interested in the science behind audio and sounds and how to achieve a perfect mix.

Primarly, when I work with/for other artists, I do mixdowns and co-produce, but also Mastering and playing Guitar.

I also offer Sounddesign, as I was experimenting with Bass music quite a lot, including to learn Synth like Serum or Vital. In my day-to-day music making process I also work a lot with Resampling and Granular Synthesis, but also with classic analog synthesizers like the Juno-60 and digital synthesizers like Serum. Also, experimenting with modulations like Flanging and Phasing and FX like Reverb and Delay is playing a huge role in my production process.
