Bla bla bla.
I'm Antonio and I make music sound amazing.
File format:
Make sure to select a 32bit or 24bit rate and export at the sample rate you mixed at, e.g. 48khz. Choose the WAV format, as it is lossless and will most probably work everywhere. Avoid MP3 for further production stages.
Dithering:
Dither is a form of low level noise which is used to replace distortion artefacts caused by quantizing digital audio from a higher resolution bit depth to a lower one, e.g. from 24bit to 16bit. As most DAWs work in 32bit, you can use dither when exporting to 24bit. You should use dither when exporting to 16bit.
Revisions:
The first version is a suggestion. Possible adjustments can then of course be discussed.
Revisions are basically free of charge. Though, if different versions of the same track are requested (e.g. a version for streaming, a different one specially for vinyl, etc.), or new mix revisions are constantly uploaded, additional costs may incur.
Delivery:
One master will be created, which will be compatible with all other platforms and media, such as streaming services, CD, etc. In general, it is recommended to use the same master across all different platforms, rather than to create a separate master for each platform. This ensures long term consistency on evermore evolving media.
