Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I always ask about favorite artists, songs and who inspires them! What a deadline and budget! If this is a vocalist, then I’ll definitely find out whether he wants to record the vocals separately on top of the mix or re-record the vocals under my mix so that I mix them into a single track.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Metal, Rock, Pop Punk, Cinematic
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I'm using my Yamaha HS8, Sennheiser HD 660S, Focusrite 8i6, Kemper Profiler, and of course VST and VSTI plugins
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Of course, everything always depends on the task that the client sets and what exactly he wants to get in the end. If he needs an instrumental track, then we discuss the details of what it is needed for, in what style. For example: if this is a vocalist, then we discuss the mood, key, and which performer the client looks up to. Or you need a track for some kind of media part, such as a video game or a trailer, then the work already comes from the style of the project and sometimes it is already prepared for the finished video sequence.
