Effervescent and shimmering like a Dynamo Hummingbird, Jesse Maclaine performs a variety of original songs and classic hits from the last 100 years of popular music. Her unique piano style and angelic yet earthy mezzo soprano centered pop-rock, jazz, folk, and soulful New Orleans influences are a powerful combination of familiar yet unique sounds.

Mezzo soprano-pianist-composer Jesse Maclaine is in demand as a live performer and recording artist because she is remarkably versatile, highly creative, and truly a team player. She began working as a professional performer/recording artist at age 17, a few years later she collaborated with friends in New Orleans and RCA Studios Nashville to produce her premiere LP. Now based in Denver, with over 25 years as a successful musician, she is held in high regard by music lovers worldwide. Her songs are enhanced by an irrepressible wave of inspiration and passion which ensures each performance is a unique experience!

Jesse's sound is similar to Tori Amos, Sara Bareilles, Regina Spektor, Fiona Apple, Jewel, or Carole King, though Jesse has always noted her three main influences are Joni Mitchell, Thelonious Monk and Frank Zappa. She specializes in pop, rock, indie, folk, jazz, world, and avant-garde music; she also performs solo piano, secular and nonsecular music upon request. In 2013 Jesse recorded a full length album with legendary New Orleans drummer Johnny Vidacovich. Five years later, in 2018, she opened for Melissa Etheridge at the International Church of Cannabis!
