Interview with Jan

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: My first full-length album (don't do it. Joking)
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both have their place depending on the use case. Generally being for one or the other would be unprofessional.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I have a good understanding of the intended feeling of music and I can really bring that out in songs clearly.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Guitar, my Neumann mic
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I'm producing music for 15 years, I have a Bachelor in Music Management but spent most of my time there in the conservatory's studios while slowly building my own home studio & collaborating with more and more artists.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Dynaudio nearfield monitors, acoustically treated room, sommer cables, all the relevant plugins (Fabfilter, UAD, izotope, soothe, standardclip, etc.) and a tape deck for analog re-amping.
