Interview with Bliz Beats
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: We are proud of our last single, Mistakes featuring Grant Genske. The song was powerful and had gone through various transformations before it manifested to what it is today. Working with a limited budget, we created the music video entirely using royalty free videos from StoryBlocks with Adobe Premiere. The release is still gaining stream and we hope you'll take the opportunity to listen to the song on your favorite platform, or watch the music video premiere on Youtube.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: We've had a busy summer releasing singles every 2 weeks, while also competing in the America's Next Top Hitmaker competition and advancing to the finals. We're looking to establish more relationships with hard-working and talented artists, release music, and submitting the music to the right channels (DSPs, Radio Airplay, Sync Licensing)

Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Composing catchy rhythms and melodies
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A strong ability to captivate listeners through the art of sound
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: We first try to familiarize ourselves with our clients and build rapport over the phone. This involves listening to some of their recent work and diving deep to understand their journey, hopes, aspirations, and influences. Afterwards, we work with our clients to identify the requirements of their project and try to determine if we are compatible. If we feel that we can not only fulfill, but exceed the client's needs, we dive deeper into the project to determine if they are looking for their next single, remix, EP, or LP. Depending on the artists maturity, we will provide our recommendations for consideration to the artist and gather feedback. Once we have settled on the project scope, we schedule a separate session with the artist to gather the requirements for the songs to be created. This is usually a simple process if the artist can provide relative examples of music that exists today. Otherwise, we are comfortable with a green field custom production where we dive deep into the song composition, elements, arrangement, mood, and tempo. After we come to an agreement, we turn around a 60 - 90 demo to the client within 2 business days. The feedback and revisions can either be specified via email or on the phone. Afterwards, we'll turn around the next revision within one business day. In the case additional adjustments are required, we would allow for another round of revisions to hone in on the remaining changes. If additional revisions are required, we will use our discretion to determine if the changes are significant enough for additional charges, however we like to keep things simples. One the track is complete, we will send a high-quality WAV / AIFF file to the client via WeTransfer. The link to access these files is valid for 90 days. This process is repeated for each track if we are working on multi-track projects, such as an EP or LP. Lastly, we kindly ask our customers if they're willing to fill out a review of our work.
