Jazz/Rock Session Guitar/Bass

Professional jazz guitarist & session musician. Gigging, studio, and touring work playing jazz, rock, and everything in between.

Sydney based jazz and session guitarist/bassist developing my skills working as an in demand musician for hire, playing on gigs around town, Australian tours, recording sessions, and fronting my own groups such as the William Kiss Quartet. I teach, as well as performing at corporate and private functions/events.

I can offer jazz guitar in many styles, from warm beautiful ballads, to fast bebop, to experimental modern jazz with interesting harmonic approaches and textures, and affected guitar sounds.

I can also offer rock, blues and soul guitar doing everything from a soaring solo, to finding the right guitar part to complement your song and sit perfectly in the band mix. I also work playing blues, soul, pop, post rock, singer/songwriter, and more.

As well as guitar I have played bass professionally on many recording sessions and on tours, I took bass lessons for years alongside guitar and pride myself on not playing bass like a guitar player!
