Pittsburgh based multi-instrumentalist; raised in Southern California by an ethnomusicologist, I was granted great insight in various forms of Americana and World Music through the likes of Ry Cooder and David Lindley.
Specializing in traditional bottleneck blues and gospel, various styles of traditional Mexican folk such as Norteno, Hawaiian slack-key, the lost art of blues mandolin and Greek rebetika, or “Bouzouki Music” and, of course, Rock n’ Roll. I pride myself in my wide exposure to various musical forms, my ability to pinpoint the tonal center and apply authentic, niche sounds to enhance any piece of music. I am particularly interested in session work, whether on stage or in a studio and creating Film Scores.
