Initiated into the world of Sitar by his father, the accomplished Sitar player Ustad Mohsin Ali Khan, Mehtab commenced his musical journey at the tender age of 4.His unwavering commitment to his craft positions him as a promising talent destined for greatness, garnering a sterling reputation nationwide. Mehtab captivates audiences in various cities, leaving an indelible mark and continually astonishing listeners with his exponentially growing talent.Mehtab Ali Niazi's illustrious career is adorned with a multitude of accolades and recognitions, testifying to his exceptional prowess as a Sitar virtuoso. In 2022, he was honored with the Surjyotsna National Music Award by the Government of Maharashtra, a testament to his outstanding contribution to the musical landscape.
