Simon joined the first live tour of "the pioneer of dance music" Giorgio Moroder as a lead and backup singer. He is the backup singer on the European leg of the show 'Elvis - Live on Screen feat. Priscilla Presley'. He also writes his own music. He can ooze vulnerability as well as pack a punch with his thrilling powerhouse vocals.
I will deliver you high quality lead/backing vocals or I'll write catchy toplines.
I will record for you with love, care and energy. I will treat your music as if it's my own. My carrier took me along various paths and makes me suitable for a lot of different tasks within the music industry.
These vocal stems will be recorded in Logic Pro, are all recorded at the same level and will also be edited by me. You'll get files that are clean and easy to work with.

Interview with Simon Feenstra
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I worked with a lot of famous people but I loved working with Giorgio Moroder. Not only because I am a huge fan but also he was sooo lovely and nice.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I’m working on my own disco show!
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: My lovely singing friends Eltine and Natasja.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will treat your song as if it’s my own. I treat it with love, passion and dedication.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What kind of energy do you seek What kind of sound do you seek What is the overall feeling
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I always like when the customer can express very clearly what they are looking for in sound and style.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have done a lot of things. Musical Theatre, Pop Soul and Jazz gigs, lead and backing vocals gigs, shows for 30 people or 25.000 people. In almost 20 years of professional singing I have seen a lot but still loving it every second!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Bruno Mars!!!!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: To record a bigger sounding choir with just 1 person, sing every line three times and use every line a different tone.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, Soul, Disco and EDM
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I would say my big range and I can belt the stars out of the sky ;)
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I’ll bring energy, passion, different sounds and high quality vocalling. I also bring a range of 4 octaves for BV’s.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I listen to the track. Look and sing along with the sheet music (if it’s there). If it’s a full production I’ll start with the BV’s and with the top voicing. After double tracking I’ll start with the lead vocals. After all the recording I will edit all the tracks.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I record through a Shure SM7B. Cause I am a high tenor and have a lot of twang in my voice I love how this microfoon adds density. If it’s good enough for Michael it sure is for me. ;) I record in Logic Pro.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My vocal hero is Whitney Houston. I just love how she uses her technique so easily and deliver every word and meaning.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: As a recording artist I record vocal tracks for demo tracks, backing tracks, karaoke tracks or write and sing top lines.
