Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I worked on my friends album recently and he is an experimental artist, so the mixes are all different on each song and getting the mixes to how he liked them, was probably the most difficult part, as I was constantly changing them. I was the Engineer on this project.

A: An Artists album

A: I am able to share my passion of music with other people as well as hearing all kinds of songs from different perspectives

A: "How do I improve the quality of my recordings?" - get a shield around your mic to block out the background noises and get a decent microphone like the Rode NT1A as its a good starting mic.

A: That mixing large projects can be done qucikly

A: Make sure you have a clear description of what you are looking for e.g with details and timestamps if you want specific effects to happen.

A: My career path is a songwriter/Engineer, I have been doing this for 4 years now

A: Sometimes the best thing for a mix is for you to take a step back and see why you have put certain plugins where to make sure, you are following your vision for the song.

A: Clean up the vocals, make sure that my project is nice and organised before mixing. Making sure that if there any peaks or anything like that in the vocal are all sorted before going on to do my mix.
