Over 2 million views on Spotify for my productions, nearly 1 million on my personal project, and now I'm open to collaborating with others to create great music!
I have a deep passion for music, and in addition to my solo project, I find immense satisfaction in working with others. I enjoy being involved in all stages of the process, from crafting lyrics to fine-tuning the master.
My specialties include guitar (acoustic/electric), bass, human-sounding programmed drums, piano and synths, arranging, sound design, and mixing.
While I may not have extensive industry experience, I trust my judgment and talent. The few projects I've worked on, especially my main project (which is also my current partnership), have been successful. I believe in offering a great quality-to-price ratio and am eager to start producing excellent work at an affordable rate to showcase my capabilities.

Precise, clean, added to the emotions of the track

Great improvements to the track. Brought out the production fantastically. Super clinical with audio quality, stereo imaging, and perceived loudness. Top of the line commercial, label quality mix - somehow loud and GOOD, not harsh (issue I've had with past mix engineers here).

Leidan did a fantastic job yet again of bringing higher perceived volume, while somehow also keeping the sound smooth (no harshness on the high end or percussion, which was an issue I've had before on soundbetter). Highly recommend!

We tried three different mix engineers and none met the mark. So glad we met Leidan. Get in quick before he gets booked up and takes over Soundbetter! Going to follow this track right up with another one with him.
LEIDAN is the most talented musician I've ever worked with, and besides his incredible production skills, I think his most notable features are his love for craft and attention to details. He works on every song with love and intention, and that quality can be heard in the final results. Another quality I'd highlight is his empathy, which helps him turn ideas into fully recorded songs, always trusting his intuition and connecting with the musicians he's working with. He has connected the dots to take my music from DIY bad demos to beautiful songs
LEIDAN is a high class musician with a marvelous musical view. His way of working is fully focused on giving each composition the feeling and vibe it deserves, which makes it perfect for artists who don’t have (yet) their musical way.
Highly recommended for whoever that wants to have a personalised session with a great producer, and wonderful human being.
Interview with LEIDAN
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Typically, my compositions lean towards highly melodic and easily accessible songs. I place a strong emphasis on rich and complex harmonies, which happens to be my favorite aspect of music. I enjoy incorporating a diverse range of styles into my work.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I believe my greatest strength lies in comprehending the context of each song and providing the most fitting treatment for each circumstance. With experience across various genres and a willingness to transcend genre boundaries, I consider myself objective and open in the production and creation of a song. My broad range of influences and tastes contributes to this versatility.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I'm not particularly inclined to impose a distinctive mark when producing a song. While there's an inevitable unconscious influence, my priority is always to do what best serves the song, irrespective of external factors. I cherish the art of crafting and producing songs, akin to a painter creating a masterpiece. I am deeply invested in the process, especially when I believe the idea is strong and holds potential.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: As an artist, I consistently prioritize starting with the composition and the core idea. When working as a producer for someone else and the composition is already completed, I enjoy initiating with basic production concepts. As the process unfolds, my focus shifts towards mixing and ensuring each element harmonizes well within the song. Typically, there's a final session where I add intricate details, refine transitions, and incorporate effects. While the last stage generally involves the final master, I remain attentive to the overall picture. If something doesn't work during the mastering phase, I'm open to revisiting the initial production phase to make necessary changes.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I currently operate in a professional, acoustically treated studio where my focus is primarily on mixing and mastering. Additionally, I have a home studio where I feel more inspired and find it conducive to working on creative ideas. I'm not particularly drawn to elaborate studios, and I don't believe one necessarily needs to work in such a setting to produce a good song.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am deeply inspired by several UK artists, particularly Jacob Collier and Jordan Rakei. These artists greatly influence me on both a personal and artistic level. They are individuals who grasp the significance of every stage in the process of releasing a high-quality song, and they go beyond being just singers or performers.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common job I undertake, and the one I consider my specialty, is crafting excellent songs. Whether involved in the initial composition process or refining pre-existing compositions, I thoroughly enjoy working on production, both at a foundational level and delving into intricate details and finishing touches. Consequently, I typically handle the mixing of the songs and add the final touch to the master. For me, each of these stages is integral to the same process, and I view them all as equally important.
