Analog Mixing for Rock bands

Benoit Girard on SoundBetter

I'm a professional mixer, specialized in Rock and owner of an analog mixing studio in France. I'm mixing for almost 20 years and have been part of rock bands most of my life. I'll be happy to help you make your recordings reflect your artistic vision. Let's talk about what you're trying to achieve and see how we can work together!

I've started recording and mixing for my own needs in 2005 and released hundreds of tracks and tens of albums since them.

I graduated from Abbey Road Institute Paris and I received a "Bronze Award" during the AES 149th remix competition.

I own a mixing studio near Paris (France), built around a Solid State Logic AWS console. I'm using both analog gear and plugins when mixing. I love having knobs, buttons in front of me when mixing, this helps focusing on what is really important: the sound.
When needed I of course use plugins for specific tasks, or just because I don't have every piece of gear in the studio.

I'm mostly mixing rock bands. Since the genre is quite wide, it's always interesting to talk with the band and understand what they're trying to achieve.

I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.
