I'm a professional mixer, specialized in Rock and owner of an analog mixing studio in France. I'm mixing for almost 20 years and have been part of rock bands most of my life. I'll be happy to help you make your recordings reflect your artistic vision. Let's talk about what you're trying to achieve and see how we can work together!
I've started recording and mixing for my own needs in 2005 and released hundreds of tracks and tens of albums since them.
I graduated from Abbey Road Institute Paris and I received a "Bronze Award" during the AES 149th remix competition.
I own a mixing studio near Paris (France), built around a Solid State Logic AWS console. I'm using both analog gear and plugins when mixing. I love having knobs, buttons in front of me when mixing, this helps focusing on what is really important: the sound.
When needed I of course use plugins for specific tasks, or just because I don't have every piece of gear in the studio.
I'm mostly mixing rock bands. Since the genre is quite wide, it's always interesting to talk with the band and understand what they're trying to achieve.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock (mostly indie rock, alt-rock, punk, garage)
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Critical listening and patience
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Clarity and enjoyment (and love :D).
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: The bands send me their tracks and after a first listen I give them feedback: what is feasible, what could be a problem and sometimes if certain takes need to be redone. I then spend half a day on the ‘editing’ part (cleaning up the tracks, resetting, touching up the beats, etc.). Once the edit is finished, I do a first mix on the second half-day. The next morning, with fresh ears, I go back to the mix and send a first version. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: The center piece of my studio is my Solid State Logic AWS console. I'm working with analog gear (SSL, TC Electronic M6000, Lexicon, Drawxmer 1960, vintage MCI channel strips...) and plugins.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm a big fan of Butch Vig: jumping from a successful drummer of a great band to a great producer of a great band is simply insane.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually work with rock bands who have recorded themselves and are struggling to get a satisfactory mix. They usually complain about the roughness and lack of definition of the output. I help them get a track that meets their expectations, where each instrument finds its place in the mix.
I was the Mixing engineer, drums producer in this production

Usually, bands send me first their tracks, so that we can make sure all takes are fine before starting the mix process and some reference tracks for the mix result.
We usually start with 4 revisions.
