Interview with Logan Hanna

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I worked with a close friend and artist (Interkinekt) to Co-Produce their first full release. I am super proud of what we made and was my first experience working as a producer on an entire project.

  3. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  4. A: Justin Francis! He is a wickedly talent recording and mixing engineer based out of Nashville as well.

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: BOTH because they each have unique things to offer! Why choose when you don't have to!

  7. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  8. A: That I have the honor of being thought worthy enough to help others bring their artistic and sonic visions to reality.

  9. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  10. A: "Do you really know what all those knobs do?"

  11. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  12. A: Just reach out and be forthcoming! I love meeting new people!

  13. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  14. A: Custom 6BA6 Comp/Limiter, Universal Audio 6176, Microtech-Gefell UMT70S, RCA BK5B, API 550A

  15. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  16. A: K.I.S.S. - Keep it Stupidly Simple. It's easy to overcomplicate things, so it's best to keep the workflow as streamlined as possible!

  17. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  18. A: To be completely honest, everyone I have the opportunity to work with inspires me in one way or another. You never know where that spark of inspiration or creativity will come from.
