Vocalist, Songwriter and Producer ready to bring your vision to life. Fresh vocal ideas specializing in Country/Americana, Pop and Singer/Songwriter genres. Let me breathe life into your song whether you need help with songwriting, melody, lyrics, vocal arrangement, top-line vocal recording or a straight-up demo, I'm here and happy to help you!
I'm an artist/songwriter/producer living and working in Nashville, TN for the past 8 years. Originally from Australia, I have been working in the industry for nearly 30 years and have extensive experience in performing, vocal arranging and songwriting. I have been producing for approximately 4 years and run track during professional songwriting sessions on a regular basis.
Being a member of a harmony band for over 15 years, I am known for my fresh vocal arrangements, bringing songs to a unexpected and elevated level.
All I need for a demo is the track, bpm and a few reference tracks. I can do basic acoustic demos or fully produced full band demos. I pride myself on high quality, good communication with a quick turnaround and I work out of my home studio in Nashville, TN.
If I am singing on your song, my terms are that my name cannot be used on the feature, and a standard 50/50 publishing split on new top-lines is expected. Contact me for complete terms and we can take it from there!

Interview with Jesse Dozzi
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started very young at just 11 years old, gigging around Brisbane, Australia. I've been in multiple bands and have just started releasing solo Music on my own. I've been in the industry my whole life - approx 25 years.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: You are the producer, not the artist/writer. It isn't your vision you are bringing to life, artist/writer/client gets the final say whether you agree or not. Also, thinking out of the box is a great way to put your own stamp on a song.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work on a lot of Country music as that is my day-to-day work, but I also work outside of the genre and enjoy doing more pop leaning tracks as well as Americana tracks.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Vocal recording, arranging and songwriting.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring fresh vocal ideas, melodic ideas as well as background ideas. Layers of harmonies. I am good at getting the song in the direction that my client prefers. Bringing out the best in the song and delivering the clients vision, not mine.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I listen to the song and then listen to the reference material first. Then once the bpm and direction is confirmed with the client, I start working on the bones of the demo. Starting I'll lay down a guide guitar or piano and a guide vocal. Then I will build the track around that and once all the parts are there I will add the lead vocal and other background vocals.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a home studio in Nashville, TN fully equipt to record my vocals for demos and play guitars etc. I use logic, sm7b also have access to other mics for guitar tracking.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I do a lot of demos, whether it's a chill acoustic track or a full in the box demo. I also sing on a lot of demos as well as vocal arranging/vocal producing.
