Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Producing some pop rock and funk tracks.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. Analog for the headroom, sound and imaging. Digital for capturing and editing.

A: You’ll like what you hear.

A: Creative process and getting results.

A: Can you make loud? If the intensity is there, then loudness will come on its own. First and foremost make it musical and dynamic.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: A mixer is not a producer but can be if you ask.

A: Is there something they expect that they don’t already have from the mix or track?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Know what you want, who you are and find the connection.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: API console, drum set, acoustic guitar, ProTools, an audio interface.

A: A solo artist and live performance with over 25 yrs experience.

A: Grounded and organic with a respect for electronic implementations.

A: Red Hot Chili Peppers. Their raw sound and great musicianship combined with great creativity is inspiring.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Record when an idea when it’s hot and don’t worry so much about what gear you’ll be using. You never know what you’ll end up using. Vibe is the most important thing to capture.

A: Pop Rock, Funk, R & B.

A: Listening.

A: I let the song tell me what it needs and work creatively from there on.

A: Import stems and clean up. Mix.

A: Top high end digital analog gear. API console, Rupert Neve preamps and eqs, Lynx Aurora n and Apogee Symphony MkII I/ O converters.Manley and Summit tube compressors. I work with ProTools Ultimate.
