Writing songs since 6 years old, I am a singer/songwriter who has a diverse musical sound which ranges from emotional ballads similar to those of Billie Eilish or Lizzie McAlpine, to alternative pop in the style of Lady Gaga or Oklou, to melodic rap similar to the style of RAYE. The music on spotify under my name is a brief taster of my ability.

My name is Sofie Mathiasen, I'm 20 years old and studying songwriting at the Royal Academy of Music in Denmark. As a songwriter, I focus especially on the lyrics, doing my best to give them depth and poetic value while still keeping the melody catchy. Not only have I been songwriting for 12 years, but I also specialized in english literature in Highschool which allows me to use literary devices in my songwriting, further allowing me to complexify and enrich the lyrics I write. While some may see my age as a sign of inexperience, I implore you to consider the benefits of working with someone who has a more fresh, and contemporary outlook on the music industry and the directions in which music can go. I personally find myself often referencing artists, (aside from those mentioned above), such as Tate McRae, FKA Twigs, Dove Cameron, Ariana Grande, Tove Lo, and so many more.
Aside from my musical profile, I am very friendly and open to working with new people and ideas! I've grown up internationally, living in South America (Colombia longest) allowing me to speak (and write in) Spanish.
