Hi there! I'm Margaret, a violinist, composer, and arranger/orchestrator, who just earned my double degree in Performance/Contemporary Writing from Berklee College of Music. As a violinist I have a strong classical background and technique, but am well-versed in jazz, pop, folk, and other contemporary genres. I've performed live with Mia Asano, the 8 Bit Big Band, and Sissy Castrogiovanni, as well as for a variety of musical theatre premiers. I've worked both freelance and for the Berklee Film scoring department as a session player sight-reading original works. I'm always happy to contribute violin to new projects!

In addition to performing, I have experience doing string, orchestral, big band, musical theatre, and pop/rock arrangements for large-scale live productions and recorded projects. I've won awards and recognition for string writing especially, but I have a solid understanding of most common instrumentations. I've done arrangements for the Boston Conservatory Pops, the Berklee Signature Series, Sin and Tonic Productions, and the Berklee Broadway Band among others. I've collaborated with talented upcoming singer/songwriters like Lisa Chiodo, Kassidy Collins, and Serena Jade.
