Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I specialize in house, techno, melodic techno, indie dance, and atmospheric electronic music with a strong focus on club-ready production and modern sound design. While electronic music is my specialty, I’m always open to working on projects outside the genre when the vision connects.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: A-drift Radio - Simmering Eyes feat. Elodie Gervaise. I handled the production, mixing, vocal tuning, and vocal comping on the track. The track received international DJ support and festival play, including Ultra, and stood out for its clean mix translation, emotional atmosphere, and powerful low-end on large sound systems.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: A combination of mixdowns and masters for returning clients, alongside personal releases and music preparation for upcoming gigs.

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: Elodie Gervaise - an incredibly talented vocalist I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Her voice works beautifully for moody and emotional electronic music.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Digital.. mainly because of the flexibility, recall ability, and efficiency while traveling or working remotely. Modern digital tools are incredibly powerful when used properly.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I won’t deliver something unless I genuinely believe in it and would proudly release it myself.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Taking an idea and turning it into something that genuinely moves people while sounding incredible on every sound system.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Client: Can you make it sound professional? My answer: my goal is to help the track sound polished and balanced while still keeping the personality and emotion that make it unique.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That mixing and mastering is just “making it louder.” If only it were that simple.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What’s the purpose of this song? What are you hoping people feel when they hear it? Was there a specific inspiration behind it? How do you imagine the final sound and energy translating?

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Get on a call with the person first. Chemistry matters more than people think. The better you connect creatively and personally, the better the final music usually turns out and sometimes it even becomes a long-term creative relationship.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: MacBook (obviously), Audeze LCD-MX4 headphones, Apollo X4, Maschine MK3, and the Arturia PolyBrute. Hopefully the island has electricity.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: It all started from pure passion back in 2006 and has stayed with me ever since. Music production is one of the few things I’ve continuously studied, evolved in, and genuinely obsessed over for years. What began as curiosity eventually turned into a lifelong craft.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Groovy, energetic, textured, immersive, and emotionally driven with strong attention to movement and atmosphere.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Trikk. If you’re unfamiliar with his music, definitely check him out. His productions constantly feel forward-thinking and unrestricted. The way he blends analog textures, digital processing, organic recordings, groove, and emotion is incredibly inspiring.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Listen at lower volumes more often. If your mix still feels balanced, energetic, and dynamic quietly, it will usually translate much better at louder volumes too. Also, most importantly, it protects your ears!

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Sound design, mixing, and mastering especially creating depth, movement, and impactful low-end while keeping mixes clean and balanced.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I bring clarity, groove, emotional impact, and professional polish while making sure records translate powerfully from headphones to clubs and large festival sound systems. My focus is creating clean low-end, depth, movement, and modern mixes that feel alive without losing emotion.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I always start by speaking with the artist to understand who they are, what inspired the track, and what emotional or sonic direction they want to achieve. I spend time listening carefully to the song before touching anything, identifying what already works and what can be elevated. From there, I focus on balancing levels, tightening groove and dynamics, tuning elements properly, refining sound selection, controlling low-end, and using subtractive EQ and processing techniques that preserve the energy and emotion of the original record. Whether mixing or producing, my goal is always to enhance the track without overcomplicating it.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: My setup is built around precision, flexibility, and translation across all sound systems. I work in Ableton Live 12 Suite using Audeze LCD-MX4 headphones (precision mixing), Neumann kh120a (Monitors), a Subpac M2 for low-end accuracy, and a Universal Audio Apollo X4 interface. My toolkit includes FabFilter, iZotope, Oeksound, Valhalla, Studio DMI, U-he, Xfer Records, Cableguys, Arturia, Antares and many more. I’m constantly testing and integrating new tools and workflows to stay current with modern production standards and sound design techniques.

A: Ben UFO, Fred again.., Impérieux, Alarico, Christian AB, Trikk, Mind Against, Âme, Bicep and artists who constantly push boundaries while still creating groovy, bumpy and emotionally driven music.

A: Primarily mixing, mastering, co-production, and full electronic music production with a strong focus on club-ready sound quality and impact.
