Jacob Blizard is as good as it gets. He's a brilliantly skilled and creative guitarist, can write perfect string arrangements fast, and is fantastic at all the tech minutia. He's the kind of person that you love more after spending a million hours on tour together (and most people are not like that!) As a music director, he's able to seamlessly weave back and forth between the big picture and smaller details, and manages to allow everyone in the room to be their best musical selves. Sincerely one of the most thoughtful, talented people I've had the pleasure of working with.

Jacob played guitar on my debut album and has also played guitar in my band on tour. During tour, Jacob went so above and beyond — helping me learn guitar parts I was shaky on, giving on-the-spot arrangement suggestions, and keeping the mood light throughout. He’s not only an excellent musician, but a great collaborator and friend. As a woman in my 20’s who is relatively new to the industry, I really appreciate the way that Jacob shares his knowledge without ever being pedantic and always while respecting my vision. I would highly recommend Jacob in basically every scenario.

Jacob is the most professional musician I’ve ever had the pleasure of hiring to record with. He showed up to each session completely prepared, and went above and beyond to help shape my album into what it is today. I don’t have as much studio experience as him, so he was really patient and understanding towards that. He was hired to write/record guitar, and exceeded expectations by also offering ideas for bass and synth as well. Overall, I don’t know if I’d ever want to write another album without him again!
