I have made it my business to soak up the secrets behind the most recognized mixing engineers worldwide. I want to apply them to your production to evoke strong emotions in your audience.
Hey I am Martin Ambrosius from Argentina and Mixing Music is my passion. I do wake up at 5am every day, I do read self development and mindset books, then I go swimming, I do take care of my Macros and then I start working. My perfect week is about training my ears, learning new Mixing skills, playing e-bass, mixing a live band, making recordings in the Studio and mix as much Music as I can. Interview with Kaptarte Productions
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Well I think a lot of Artist are very immerse in Music creation and do not pay attention to the technical stuff. I get that is another world but this world is just as important as the Music itself. You do need both to success. The quality of the final product is a result of how good an instrument sound, how good these are played, the acoustic of the place, the mics and their positions, and of course then the mixing process.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Why are they playing Music and what do they want to accomplish with it
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Well take a look on their references and try to find something you like. Also have a look on how they approach life.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, Interface, Solar Panel, Sennheiser MD441, Neumann NDH 20

A: Stick to the emotions behind your message and have no fear. If you have to automate a Reverb to +12db you do it to evoke that emotion.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: From Classic to Punk
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Discipline
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I will tell you if your song did move me something in me or did not. If not, I will tell you why. For me Music is all about evoking emotions and you should try concentrate on that.
