  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: There was a lot. I can´t mention one special. For me its not just to work with a famous to be proud of it. I work on new songs with a artist who had a number one hit in eleven countries in the 80´s and a friendship has developed over the years. And i love bands they want to sound like a classic record like AC DC. I had a few of them and i like the vibe of these productions.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Iam working on a hardrock, punkrock and a alternative album.

  5. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  6. A: Chris Lord Alge, Tom Lord Alge, Vance Powell, Andy Wallace, Bob Clearmountain, Jaquire King, Andrew Scheps, Philippe Zdar (R.i.p) and many more

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Definitely both. You benefit from a recording and mixing thru my SSL console, there is a sound you can´t reach only digital (more 3dimensional, more smooth) but if it's just about mixing and you need a crisp modern rock sound, i prefer in the box with plugins. But mostly its a hyrid thing.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: A professional, structured, quick, uncomplicated workflow

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: That the premium sound is only created by mixing and the best equipment.

  15. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  16. A: What are your goals with your music? Are you happy with your sound? Do you think a premium sound will help you achieve your goals?

  17. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  18. A: Don't hesitate and see if sympathy arises, than all wishes are possible.

  19. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  20. A: A smartphone full with music on storage with good headphones, a AKG C414 mic, my SSL console and a computer with all plugins and vsts to make music.

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: Omg i'm already old now :-). 40 years. 25 years of expirience with audio and mixing.

  23. Q: How would you describe your style?
