Award-winning music producer & mix engineer at Stranger Sounds, Canning Town. Extensive experience from arranging and recording orchestral strings in Prague to collaborating with Portishead producers, crafting sonic landscapes that transcend genres. Let's push boundaries together.
I'm Patrick James Fitzroy, a dynamic music producer, mix engineer, and musician based in the heart of London's vibrant music scene. With my state-of-the-art recording studio, Stranger Sounds, nestled within the esteemed FOLD complex in Canning Town, I bring a wealth of experience and innovation to every project. Establishing The Vault in 2020 marked a significant milestone in my career, catalysing a flurry of creative ventures that culminated in critically acclaimed releases like Sunnbrella's "Heartworn" and Broadside Hacks' debut LP, lauded by the Guardian as "hauntingly brilliant". Venturing into uncharted territories, I embraced innovative recording techniques, as exemplified by my collaboration with the late Miro Zbirka, where I orchestrated complex arrangements with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, earning international acclaim and accolades. My collaborative spirit thrived in 2022, with projects alongside iconic figures like Adrian Utley of Portishead and trailblazing acts such as Sorry, showcasing my versatility and penchant for pushing sonic boundaries. As we ventured into 2023, I continued to explore diverse sonic landscapes, from capturing the ethereal acoustics of St Giles Church to harnessing the raw energy of London's punk scene. Each project, a testament to my commitment to innovation and artistic exploration.
