Niclas Grobolsek on SoundBetter

Infusing my professional mixing expertise with a genuine love for detail, I delicately shape guitartones to achieve a nuanced and refined sound.

My name is Niclas Grobolsek, and I live in Stuttgart, the capital of South Germany, near the Porsche factory. I'm a dedicated 29-year-old guitarist and producer, passionately working towards my love for Progressive Music. I am highly ambitious in refining my skills in technique, songwriting, and production. I don't confine myself to one specific style within the metal cosmos, as you can observe in my work.

Since I first heard the solo from Comfortably Numb I was completely hooked and started to play guitar when I was six years old. Since then I have never put the instrument down and practiced. A lot. A whole lot. Embarking on a professional mixing career without a formal degree, I immersed myself in the art of sound engineering through hands-on experience and self-directed learning. Fueled by a relentless passion for audio craftsmanship, I cultivated my skills by collaborating with musicians, experimenting with diverse genres, and honing my craft through countless hours of practice. As my proficiency grew, so did my reputation in the industry, allowing me to carve a niche for myself based on the quality of my work and a relentless pursuit of sonic excellence.
