It's not the gear it's the ear! I can mix your song to sound as good as possible given your tracks provided. I can also master your song to get the proper broadcast quality levels. I like to communicate with the client, so expectations and deadlines are met, and there are no surprises.
Hello, I'm Tim Walker and I love music, and love recording and mixing music.
The first time I recorded in a studio, the year was 1984. This started my fascination with recording and studio work.
With bands, as a solo artist, or as a session musician throughout the years, I have recorded/mixed/mastered at Full Sail in Orlando, Fullersound in Miami, Morrisound in Tampa, Progressive Music Studios in Tampa, Panda Recording Studios, and many other studios.
Every time I was in a studio setting, I took that opportunity to observe, learn as much as possible, and ask as many questions about the processes as I could get away with!
I'm very passionate about getting the best I can out of whatever musical situation I take on. And this includes mixing for others.
I offer free consultation before we start a project, so we both know what your tracks are all about, and discuss the direction you wish to go.
My DAW of choice is Pro Tools. I first saw Pro Tools in action in 1995 and I've owned Pro Tools since 2004. I have all of the necessary plugins needed for mixing and mastering, including plugins from Waves, Universal Audio, Softube, and Avid.
My personal philosophy about recording and mixing is to trust my ears. Does it sound good?
Thanks for reading, and I'm looking forward to helping you and your music.

Endorse Tim WalkerTim Walker is a studio junkie! When you work with him it's obvious that he loves what he is doing and he's consistently improving his craft. He has a great ear to hear what needs to be improved and how to bring a mix to it's best version! Anyone who becomes terrific at sound engineering has to have these characteristics. A lot of engineers are not the best communicators however Tim is an excellent communicator from start to finish. Thank you Tim I appreciate you and your work!
