Partnered with one of Montana's oldest studios, I'm excited to share my passion for music with others. Music communicates emotion and I create mixes, produce songs, and play parts that ensure that. With an added emphasis on groove, feel, texture, and tonality.

Hey, I'm Scott Mathson, a Montana-based musician, engineer, and producer who started playing drums over 20 years ago. I've also played guitar for more than 15 years, have been singing for about just as long, and more recently have picked up banjo, keys, and more.

I've always personally enjoyed songwriting, the fulfillment that comes from live music, as well as all aspects of the recording and production process. I started my first studio in 2008.

I've been told that I put people at ease, which brings out the most vulnerable parts of the artists that I collaborate with. Music is a part of me—it's in my core—it's intuitive to me, and I naturally communicate about melodies, rhythms, lyrics, harmonies, and can go much deeper into the details if need be.

Lately I've been working on producing/releasing my own album of original songs, alongside staying busy with work, fly fishing around MT, playing gigs, and performing in choirs.
