Major label touring artist and engineer with over 30 years of studio experience on both sides of the glass. This gives me the unique ability to understand that the artist's vision and music always comes first!!
Greetings, I'm Alan Evans – a versatile recording, mixing (in stereo and Atmos), and mastering engineer, as well as a seasoned musician and producer based in Western Massachusetts. My musical journey began at the age of 11 in Buffalo, NY, where I initially pursued a career as a gigging musician. Notably, I honed my skills while touring globally with my band Soulive, allowing me to record and mix our albums for prestigious labels such as Blue Note Records, Concord Records, and Stax Records. With a career spanning since the mid-80s, I've cultivated extensive experience working with diverse artists and musical genres. As both a musician and songwriter, I bring a unique perspective to the engineering process. Above all, my unwavering focus is on realizing the artist's vision and enhancing their music. My commitment is to ensure your comfort throughout the entire creative journey – from inception to completion.
