  8. A: If I was rich, analog. You cannot beat something as real as analog sound. Digital is more accessible to the people.

  14. A: N/A everyone is different.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: That it you don't have a chance of making it.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: - Do you have an expected turnaround time? - When is the best time I can contact you, if needed? - Do you have a vision for this project?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Come with an open mind.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: My MacbookPro, Shure SM58, headphones, interface, LaunchKeymini.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I have been singing all of my life, literally since I could talk I have been singing. I was on stage for the first time when I was 5 years-old. So, you could say I have been singing for a quarter of a century. I studied Audio Production in 2020, so I have been working on live sound and recording, mixing etc for 3 years.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: I would describe my style as fluid. I can morph my voice to suit any kind of genre. My most loved genre is chill, trip hob, jazzy style tunes so I feel like I can sink deeper into these genres.

  28. A: Little Simz, because she is badass, musically, lyrically, emotionally, spiritually, etc etc etc.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Take breaks. If you have been working on a track for too long, your vision can get skewed. It is so important to take a step back sometimes, to let the track breathe, and come back with a fresh perspective.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: EDM, trip-hop.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: i bring creative input, harmonies, and a sprinkle of soul to a song.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I will ask the client to send me their ideas on what they want from me. If they already have lyrics and all ready to go, it is an extremely fast turnaround. However, if I am creating the melody and lyrics, I will be in contact with the client throughout the whole process to ensure that I am keeping in line with their vision. I will discuss what vibe they want, do's and don'ts, any specific tones, or lyric ideas will all be part of the process. I like my clients to be heavily involved in the process, however, if they are extremely busy and need to get the job done quickly at their request I can do my work with little communication. The creative process can be so different for each project depending on the requests.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: My studio set up is simple but effective. I have Ableton Live, using my MacOs, shure sm 58, Focusrite interface and Audio Technica Headphones lets me create clean, crisp sounds.

  42. A: Crumb, Grimes, Little Simz, Cleo Sol, FKJ, Tom Misch, IAMDDB, Haitus Kayote.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
