With over 10 years of experience on the Spanish independent scene, I help artists transgress the rules trough avant-garde production, electronic arrangements and sound design techniques.
More than 10 years exploring the paths of contemporary ambient/electronic music, have lead Manu Torres (Alicante, 1995) to work as a composer, producer/arranger & sound designer not only for his projects, but for other artists'.
As a solo act under the alias ETHR, his works are often defined by the use of a few resources taken to the limit. Contrasting melodic sequences typical of minimalism, with saturated bass lines, the artist creates immersive landscapes aimed to an active listening.
However, as a producer and arranger, his work has been mainly acclaimed by Spanish neo-folk artists and performers such as Joana Dark or Álvaro Sola who with the aim to revisit and transform traditional music from their regions, have counted on his electronic arrangements, modern production & sound design techniques.
The works he has been involved into, have often caught the attention of mainstream and specialized Spanish media such as RTVE, TV3, iCat Radio, ÀPunt or DJ Mag among others.
