Professional male vocals for your track: Recorded, edited and ready for release. Have existing vocals? I provide expert pitch correction and vocal enhancement.
Hi, I’m Marcel, vocalist & producer with 19 years of music experience.
I deliver emotional, release-ready vocals for your project.
If your vocal tracks don’t feel in pitch, or professional yet, I can get them there.
I take care of individual notes and aim for natural pitch correction without the typical “autotunes” sound, unless desired.
If your track needs more than tuning vocals, I offer emotional and professional-grade vocal recordings of my own voice.
How I work:
Clear, fast communication and focus on your song(s) and vision.
Artists I’ve worked with return because creating music together feels smooth and the results work for them.
Pricing per song:
Vocal Tuning: $50 (on sale from 75$ since I'm new on SoundBetter)
Vocal Recording: $200 (includes lead, backing vocals/adlibs, and editing)
Feel free to send me your track and let me know what you have in mind.

Interview with Marcel Zapkey
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Delivering Vocals (Pitch correction of existing vocals or singing and arranging new vocals)
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start by understanding exactly what the client wants. Then I record or tune the vocals, while keeping them natural and emotional. Feedback is incorporated quickly to ensure the final result matches the vision.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, House, Techno, Ballads, and melodic/power metal (especially in the Sonata Arctica / Avantasia style)
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I’ve worked on several melodic and progressive metal projects, recording and tuning all vocals. The bands loved the smooth process and professional results. It became a benchmark for my pitch correction and vocal production skills.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Multiple collaborations in Pop, EDM, and melodic metal, focusing on vocal tuning and full vocal recordings for international artists. Also I work on my own songwriting project which I produce myself.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I work mostly digital for precision and flexibility, but I value analog-quality gear for vocal warmth and character.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Good communication ensures the final result matches exactly what you imagine.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Next to my Mac: Neumann TLM103, Audient ID14, IsoVox 2 Vocal Booth, Cubase 15 Pro, Komplete S61, and all my plugins. Perfect setup to lay down high-quality vocals or pitch-correct them - even on a tropical beach!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I’ve been a vocalist, songwriter, and producer for 19+ years. I spent 10 years in a melodic power metal band, ran side projects in Pop/Acoustic, and now focus on vocal recording and production for international artists.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Emotional, melodic, and professional. I make vocals exciting, release-ready, and easy to mix into Pop, EDM, House, Techno, Ballads, or Melodic/Power Metal tracks.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always record vocals with emotion first, then tune carefully. Technical perfection alone can make vocals sound lifeless.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring professional, release-ready vocals that fit the vibe and emotion of the track. I make the process easy and collaborative, and help the song reach its full potential.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mainly provide pitch correction and vocal recording for Pop, House, Techno, Ballads, and Metal projects. I help clients get release-ready vocals quickly and stress-free.
