Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I’m proud of the projects I’m currently working on some tracks already played on radio and has been selected for a tv series.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I’m currently working on two albums.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Haven’t checked anyone yet.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital haven’t had much experience with analog.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise that I will be available any time to answer questions regarding the project.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like the process from starting from scratch and hearing the end results.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: The usually ask me what is my price and my answer would be what is your budget.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That making music doesn’t take a lot time.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I usually ask what is your plan with this production, what is the goal.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: That I will do my best to create a brilliant production.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My laptop, audio interface, midi keyboard, studio monitors and headphones.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been doing this since 2013.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is hiphop I’m bringing the boombap sample elements making it my own.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would really like to work with Timbaland.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don’t over do it. Keep it simple.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on Hip Hop.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is that I have a lot patience with my clients at the end of the session I want them to walk out my studio with a smile.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: What I bring to a song is my weirdness of how structure my songs. It’s not your typical radio commercial productions.I try my best to bring something different to the table and that it doesn’t sound like a song you heard before on radio.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My typical process is to get enough information from my client on what his or her needs are for the production. It’s makes my job much more efficient and turn around time will be quicker.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a basic home studio. Room has been treated, JBL305 monitors,Gemini 5inch monitor,Behringer Audio interface, Big Knob passive monitor, AKG condensor mic, M-audio 64 keys keyboard, Akai Mpd, Windows Pc, Waves plug-ins, Analogue gear is a ART pre-amp, compressor. Turntable to sample from vinyls.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by all types of music.I’m inspired by Timbaland, Pharrel, Snow goons, Stevie wonder, Quincy Jones, Dj Premier and The Alchemist.
