Unlock the full sonic potential of your music with a world-class mixing and mastering engineer – where every note comes to life and every sound resonates in perfect harmony. Elevate your tracks to industry-standard perfection with our expert touch

As a dedicated musician and experienced mixing and mastering engineer, I deeply understand the intricate journey of bringing music to life. I know firsthand the challenges of shaping your own sound—from capturing the essence of your creativity to achieving a polished, professional final result that truly represents your artistic vision.

My work is guided by a dual perspective: I am both a musician and an engineer. This allows me to approach every project not just from a technical standpoint, but from an artistic one. I understand the emotional and creative investment behind every song, and I treat your music not as a simple collection of tracks, but as a meaningful artistic statement. My goal is always to preserve the authenticity of your sound while elevating it through careful, intentional production. My experience extends beyond studio work. I have composed and produced music for short films that have been screened at the Cineteca Nacional, and I remain actively involved in the jazz scene as a vocalist. I have performed and produced my own jazz and bolero concerts alongside professional musicians, experiences that have strengthened my musical sensitivity, arrangement skills, and artistic direction.

If you’re looking for someone who combines musical sensitivity, artistic taste, and technical precision, I’d love to collaborate with you.

Interview with Johanan Nader

  1. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  2. A: One of the most important lessons in music production is that your ears should always be the final authority. Meters, plugins, presets, and visual analyzers can be helpful tools, but they should never make decisions for you. Great production ultimately comes down to listening carefully and trusting your judgment. If something feels right emotionally and musically, that matters far more than whether it looks “correct” on a screen. Because of this, developing strong taste and critical listening skills is essential. The more music you analyze, compare, and truly listen to, the sharper your criterion becomes. Over time, you start recognizing what a track actually needs—whether that means adding something, removing something, or simply leaving space. In the end, technology supports the process, but your ear and your artistic judgment are what shape the music

  3. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  4. A: My strongest skill is artistic judgment. Technical tools, plugins, and equipment are available to many producers, but what truly defines great production is taste—the ability to understand what a piece of music needs and what it doesn’t. My work is guided by a very clear artistic criterion: every sonic decision must serve the emotional core of the music. I don’t approach production as a purely technical process or as a way to simply deliver a product. My goal is to craft a sonic work of art. That means shaping dynamics, space, texture, and tone in a way that elevates the music beyond a clean mix and turns it into a compelling listening experience. Because of this perspective, artists trust me not only for technical precision but for strong artistic direction. I focus on preserving the identity of the song while enhancing its depth, clarity, and emotional impact, ensuring the final result feels intentional, powerful, and timeless.

  5. Q: What's your typical work process?

  6. A: I structure my workflow in three main stages: pre-production, production, and feedback. We begin with a conversation to clearly understand your goals, artistic vision, and any specific expectations for your music. Based on that foundation, I move into the mixing process, where I focus on balancing levels, creating spatial placement through panning, and applying precise processing techniques to shape and enhance the overall sound. Once you receive your mix, you’ll have the opportunity to listen carefully and share your feedback. From there, we can refine and adjust any elements that don’t fully align with your vision until the final result feels exactly right.

  7. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  8. A: I typically work with Abbey Road Studio 3 and monitor through Shure SE215 in-ear monitors, which provides me with a reliable and consistent reference environment for making critical mixing decisions. I then complement this workflow with some of the industry’s most respected audio processing tools, including plugins from Universal Audio, Waves Audio, Valhalla DSP, and Slate Digital, among others, ensuring professional-grade sound quality and precision throughout the production process.

  9. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  10. A: Foals, Jeff Buckley, Aaron Dessner (from The National)
