Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: A good condenser mic, laptop, audio interface, headphones, and my MIDI keyboard that’s all I need to create anywhere.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I started writing and recording music at 15 and grew my sound through collaborations, songwriting sessions, and placements. Over the years, I’ve developed a love for both writing for others and building my own catalog as an artist.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Soulful, modern, and honest. I love mixing smooth melodies with raw, emotional writing.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I’d love to work with Nao or Brent Faiyaz as they both have a deep sense of mood and storytelling in their sound, which is what I connect to most.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Never underestimate simplicity. Sometimes the space between sounds is what lets the emotion breathe less can be way more.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I mainly work on R&B, garage, house, soul, and afro pop, but I love blending genres especially when I’m creating for placements or writing with producers from different backgrounds

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Writing from emotion. I can translate a feeling or story into lyrics and melodies that really resonate. Whether it’s a love song or a vulnerable ballad, I know how to make it feel human.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: Emotion, depth, and catchy melodies. I focus on making songs that feel authentic and memorable something that connects with people on the first listen but still feels real on the tenth.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I start by understanding the vision the emotion, theme, and purpose of the song. Then I build melodies first, followed by lyrics that feel real and relatable. If I’m working with a producer, I like to exchange ideas early so the writing and production evolve together.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I keep my setup minimal but powerful: a treated home studio with a condenser mic, interface, monitors, and DAW for writing and vocal tracking. It’s designed for comfort and creativity a space where I can write freely and record clean, professional vocals.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I’m inspired by writers and artists who bring honesty and emotion into their music people like Nao, Jorja Smith, Mahalia, and Snoh Aalegra. On the production side, I admire collaborators who really understand how to build space around vocals, like P2J and Jordan Rakei.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I mostly write toplines, hooks, and full songs for artists and producers. I also create melodic ideas and sample pack material for producers who need fresh inspiration for placements or new projects.
