Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Na Drodze - Blues dziewięciu. It is one of the best bluegrass LP in Poland.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Reference tracks for Sound Better because I have only copyrighted material.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I haven't looked yet.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital, it is more convenient when you need revisions.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will do my best.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like making nice records and I like to work with sensitive people making great songs. I love recording great musicians.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Can you master your own mix. Yes it is a free service, but you should ask someone else to master it with other monitors in other room.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: People don`t discern Mixing and Mastering
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: It depends on material they send me, but i ask for timeline and reference tracks almost always.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Ask me for advice :)
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I could make a good mix on a descent island with no gear ;)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: 20+ years working, as recording engineer, and live FOH engineer.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Versatile, every band is unique needs something different.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would like to work with good musicians playing real instruments in real acoustic space, because it is harder and more interesting than stitching samples together, or recording synths.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don`t buy expensive preamp, or cables.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock, Pop, Metal.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Recording and mixing acoustic drums, and guitars.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Clarity, Dynamics, Space and tonal Balance. I try to enhance emotions whenever possible.

A: 1. Listen to a song. 2. Mix a Song 3. Send the song to client
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have big fully treated control room, and a modest tracking room. My main monitors are Yamaha HS8. I use Studio One as my DAW of choice.
