  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Na Drodze - Blues dziewięciu. It is one of the best bluegrass LP in Poland.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Reference tracks for Sound Better because I have only copyrighted material.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: I haven't looked yet.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital, it is more convenient when you need revisions.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I will do my best.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: I like making nice records and I like to work with sensitive people making great songs. I love recording great musicians.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Can you master your own mix. Yes it is a free service, but you should ask someone else to master it with other monitors in other room.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: People don`t discern Mixing and Mastering

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: It depends on material they send me, but i ask for timeline and reference tracks almost always.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Ask me for advice :)

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: I could make a good mix on a descent island with no gear ;)

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: 20+ years working, as recording engineer, and live FOH engineer.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: Versatile, every band is unique needs something different.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I would like to work with good musicians playing real instruments in real acoustic space, because it is harder and more interesting than stitching samples together, or recording synths.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Don`t buy expensive preamp, or cables.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Rock, Pop, Metal.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Recording and mixing acoustic drums, and guitars.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: Clarity, Dynamics, Space and tonal Balance. I try to enhance emotions whenever possible.

  38. A: 1. Listen to a song. 2. Mix a Song 3. Send the song to client

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I have big fully treated control room, and a modest tracking room. My main monitors are Yamaha HS8. I use Studio One as my DAW of choice.
