Brian has been so easy to work with and I feel very lucky that I found him. He has helped me with creating several tracks and we are hopefully going to work on my debut EP together!!!

Interview with Brian

  1. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  2. A: It's important to take breaks! Sometimes something sounds great, but then you take a break and come back to it, realizing you are completely missing something!

  3. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  4. A: That I will provide them with a quality product that satisfies their specific needs!

  5. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  6. A: It all started with Garageband back when I was 15. Ever since then, I have been writing and producing songs.

  7. Q: How would you describe your style?

  8. A: Disciplined, but artistic.

  9. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  10. A: I would love to work with Max Martin! I feel we have similar approaches to production.

  11. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  12. A: I finished a song called "I Can't Help It" recently and I'm really proud of it. It is a pop song that I wrote, produced, and sung on!

  15. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  26. A: What EXACTLY they are looking for. I aim to please!

  27. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  28. A: Never hesitate to be as specific as you'd like with what you are looking for. Much better to give every detail upfront!

  29. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  30. A: My AT2035 condenser mic, Macbook, Scarlett 2i2 interface, a digital piano, and probably my guitar!

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: My work ethic.

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: I bring quality. Generally, I try to bring exactly what the client might be looking for.

  38. A: I have a very professional home studio with several high-quality condenser mics, interfaces, etc. I mostly work in Logic Pro X and Pro Tools.

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: I really love Max Martin because he has really mastered the art of pop vocal production.
