Drums that put the song first

I know what singer/songwrites need, becuase I am one. I always focus on supporting the vocal and making a track feel great. I love the art of recording, and want to help you make your creative vision a reality!

I was never in to drummers as much as I am in to bands and songs. I grew up in a musical family... all of my uncles and my father could all sing or play an instrument. So family gatherings became jams. There I was schooled on motown and soul music from the 60's 70's and 80's. Later my love for classic rock, pop and singer/song writers would blossom. Feel is always the most important thing for me.

I have (and can record) with vintage Ludwig drums from the 60's and 70's as well as more modern drums that were cusrtom built for me. I use a variety of microphones by Sure, Sterling, AKG and others. My recording space is cozy and great for close micing techniques. For projects that require more room ambiance, I have access to several studios with top notch gear and engineers.
