Rec, Mix, Mastering engineer

Never Grammy nominated. I'm a Recording, mixing and mastering engineer specialized in underground and lo-fi styles. There are no famous artists on my resume, but there are unique and super special mixes and recordings, some of them on cassette. I do special mastering for cassette and also duplication for small editions.

Sound engineer based in Barcelona. I have more than 17 years of experience both in the studio and live.
I offer mixing and mastering services both online and in person in my professional studio. I also offer mixing and mastering coaching services for musicians and new producers and engineers, as well as advice on quipment and configuration of home and project studios.
I work with all styles, but above all I specialize in more indie and underground styles, from folk, rock... to more modern urban and pop.
Analog sounds, lo-fis, saturation and distortion are my trademark, always with good taste and subtlety. I flee from the obvious and mainstream sounds. My purpose is for each mix and mastering to have a unique character.
On another hand, I am a big fan of the cassette format and I specialize in mastering for cassette, as well as mixes and productions done on multitracks cassette recorders.
I am also dedicated to duplicating and editing cassette productions.
I have a hybrid workflow system. With high quality analog equipment that I use to give character to the mixes and mastering.
As a sound engineer, my main influences are Geoff Emerick, Bill Putnam, Bruce Swedien, Bob Clearmountain, Al Schmitt, Shawn Everett and Steve Albini.
I'm a big fan of raw, forceful sounds without much process or overproduction. One of my mottos when mixing and mastering is "less is more".
